mullaperiyar.online (“the site”, “we”) is run by Reuben C Kuruvilla, Kerala, India. By using the site you agree to these terms.
1. What the site is
The site offers a free public flood-awareness map for a possible Mullaperiyar Dam break (and a Maniyar Dam layer), free flood alerts for registered members, a petition, and an optional paid Supporter plan.
2. Not an official warning
The map is an indicative awareness model (estimated about 70% accuracy), not an official inundation map. It does not replace warnings or instructions from KSDMA, CWC, district authorities or the police. In an emergency, always follow official instructions. We do not guarantee that any alert will reach you, or reach you in time.
3. Your account
You must give true details and verify your email. Keep your login safe. You may delete your account at any time from My account or by writing to us.
4. Supporter plan (paid)
- Price: ₹500 per month (Indian Rupees, including any applicable taxes).
- Monthly autopay: if you choose “Support monthly”, ₹500 is charged automatically every month through Razorpay (UPI Autopay, card or bank mandate) until you stop it. You can stop it any time from My account; no further charges are made after that and you stay a Supporter until the end of the month already paid.
- Pay once: you can instead pay in advance for 1, 3, 6 or 12 months with no auto-debit.
- What you get: priority SMS alerts for your home once the SMS service starts, a personal area report (depth, arrival time and nearest safe high ground for your location), and early access to new maps. Your payment also keeps the map and free alerts running for everyone.
- Payments are processed by Razorpay. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details.

5. Fair use
Do not misuse the site, try to break its security, copy the data in bulk, or post false or abusive content in feedback or the petition.
6. Liability
The site is provided “as is”. To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from use of, or reliance on, the map, the alerts or any delay or failure in them. Our total liability for the Supporter plan is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months.
7. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version.
8. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Kerala have jurisdiction.
